A simple and economical way of supplying power to a travelling machine with linear travel.
A nylon-coated wire rope is tensioned between two points, a series of wheeled trolleys travel on the wire rope to carry the cables or hoses. One end of the cables/hoses is attached to a fixed position and the other end to the moving machine. The trolleys and cables extend or retract as the machine travels backwards and forwards.
